<p>however, i’m very confused - what /is/ an appeal, when is it due, and when can one be notified?</p>
<p>Hey I know an appeal is when you don’t get into a school and you try to get in by like submitting information stating WHY you should get in. I don’t know the details but that’s the main concept of appeals</p>
<p>they’re when you got rejected from a school and you feel you deserve admission. to appeal a decision, you follow that specific school’s specific guidelines. for the UCs, you generally send them a letter with NEW information that they hadn’t already read, a letter of reccomendation or two, and maybe some samples of work. appeals don’t normally work, but the school will try to notify you before the may 1st deadline.</p>
