What are Berkeley's gen eds?

<p>I’m wondering what gen eds Berkeley requires (program non-specific, OF COURSE). Gen eds are separate from what my major would require, right? I’m not sure if I found the correct gen eds on their site, but they seem to be English and U.S. History…</p>

<p>If you’re in the College of Letters and Science, then you also have to take a course in seven different areas as part of the 7-course breadth requirement.</p>

<p>Other colleges have different requirements that you can look up.</p>

<p>You also have to satisfy the Reading and Comprehension requirement, as well as the American History/Institutions and American Cultures requirements.</p>

<p>I’m the College of Natural Resources; I know my requirements for my major, but are there general requirements for the college in general?</p>

<p>I also see that CNR requires an English requirement; if I fulfill this, will it also cover my major’s requirement of English courses?</p>
