What are M1, M2, M3, and M4?

<p>What do they stand for?</p>

<p>M1=first year med student
M2=second year med student</p>

<p>And so on…</p>

<p>Often MS1, MS2, etc.</p>

<p>This is a family website, so I can’t tell you what I’ve heard MS “really” stands for…but I’m sure some of you are pretty creative. Let’s just say that the M# system doesn’t lend itself as easily to derogatory comments…</p>
