What are may chances of getting in at Brown?

Math 720 Reading 700 Writing 760</p>

<p>Sat 2s Score (Planning on retaking them also I was extremely tired and wholly ill prepared to take these exams!):
Math2 700 Literature 640 Chemistry 690</p>

<p>Courses:</p>

<p>I have taken mostly AP and pre-ap courses</p>

<p>GPA:
Unweighted w/ electives 3.75; Unweighted w/ only core classes: 3.67</p>

<p>Rank: Top 10 percent</p>

National Spanish Honor Society
Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council
Newspaper Club, Founder and Assistant Editor in Chief
CHC organization (founded the organization in middle school. donate novels and clothes to children in impoverished Nigerian villages ), President
Volunteered in my Churches’ Children department since freshman year and served as the teen leader for their children retreat
Tutored at the YMCA during freshman year
I have played the piano since I was in third grade
Summer Nanotechnology Internship at Rice University after sophomore year</p>

<p>Also I don’t know if this matters or is even necessary but I am African American female</p>

<p>Sounds like you’re in good shape, and will be in even better shape when you retake those SAT’s. How many years of language did you take? I hear that Brown really likes to see four years. Also, it definitely helps that you are African American. Many colleges act like they don’t consider your ethnicity, but they definitely do.</p>
