What are my chances as a third generation at Tulane?

Hi I am a high school junior from a public high school in California(ranked in top #250 in us news high school rankings). I have about a 3.8 uw and a 4.2 w gpa. My ec’s are 200+ hours volunteering at a hospital, 3 years in girl up club, 3 years in Red Cross Association club, and 2 years in Teach club at my school. I have a great recommendation letter from my counselor, math teacher, and english teacher. My grandfather and my father went to Tulane does that significantly improve my chances? I also plan on applying early action.

You are probably a match, but I can’t say for sure without test scores. You will need a 1900 or above to have a good chance of getting in. I think 1950 is the average. With a 2100 and above you have a shot at getting a lot of merit aid.
