What’s up, Whoever ends up reading this:
My name is Sam. I’m a sophomore at Fordham University in New York City, and I’m majoring in Finance. Basically, I’m trying to get out of this school because it’s full of kids who are only interested in getting wasted at “tri bar,” and because the administration doesn’t do what it needs to to accommodate student interests. So I’m looking to check out what the UC’s have to offer (which is obviously a lot, considering the UC system has a fantastic reputation.)

My biggest issue is my GPA. My cumulative GPA is a 3.2. My GPA as a finance major is a 3.5. However, my resume is pretty stacked with internships in the music industry (A and R at Vice Records in Brooklyn, Research and analysis at Warner Music Group) and I also have a paying job as an audio engineer at WFUV, which is an NPR radio station. I’m not really sure if those are relevant details or not. I know colleges usually look for school/ college related extra curricular activities (of which i have none because THIS SCHOOLS CLUB CULTURE IS ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL). Although, I have been in a few (not school related) jazz ensembles that perform around the city. I’m confident that I could provide good written supplements, and good recorded music supplements with my application.

Given this information. Do you think I have a chance of getting into any of the UC’s like Irvine, Davis, San Diego, Santa Cruz, or Santa Barbara? I’m kinda lost haha. Thanks!
