What are my chances at Berkeley and Columbia?

<p>GPA: 4.4 (one of the highest in school for sophomores), hardest courses
SAT score: probably around 2200</p>

<p>ECs:</p>

<p>Piano (13 years)
MUN (3 years, lots of awards)
School Newspaper (3 years)
Softball (4 years, captain of JV in sophomore year)
Weekly Volunteering at montessori in an underpriveleged area
did community service with two other people in Guatemala for 6 weeks (Amigos Program)
did community service in Peru for 3 weeks with church</p>

<p>alright. no offense, but get off this site. for your own good. you shouldn’t be on this site until you’re at least a junior, it will stress you out WAYYY too much. I suggest staying off until mid-way through junior year, or later if you can.
literally, the site can cause so much stress when you see a bunch of rick-roids and trolls, some of whom post perfect stuff that they dont really have just to make others feel inadequate.
stay off for your own good.</p>

<p>Work on your SAT or ACT (2250+ or 33+).
I don’t think you will have big problem getting into UCs.</p>

<p>However, Columbia is a different story.
It will be a reach school no matter what you do. (Unless you qualify for USAMO, Intel or …)</p>

<p>As of right now, your ECs are very typical and weak.</p>
