Major? Ethnicity? Gender?

Country of origin? Rank out of total number of students? Quality of essays?

My school does A-levels too and we don’t have a ranking system that I’m aware of - everybody takes different subjects, so make sure you confirm that before sending anything in. You’ve got some leadership positions but you haven’t been leading a legitimate club (clubs outside of school with friends are almost always ignored, unless you do something noteworthy or provide some proof you’ve actually been doing something productive - could be in rec letters, etc. - mistake my brother made). Your IGCSE grades are decent though, and your A-level predicted grades are good enough. Keep in mind however, an Ivy is a reach for anyone and everyone; best you can do is apply, wait and see what happens.

Best of luck!

@ghostdead56 I’m living in Bahrain. Nationality - Pakistani.

We had the ranking system till 9th grade (300+ students), up until then my rank was 1st. In A levels, we have subject wise rankings where I’ve ranked first in all my subjects.

@ghostdead56 What can we do as something noteworthy with our debate club …?

Any suggestions ?

You are competitive, but to be more then you would need more major related EC.
