2100+ is already very competitive for A&S.
2200+ is competitive for engineering (although I got in with 2150)

Hotel and architecture place a lot more emphasis on other things (Hotel more so on experience working with hospitality, architecture on your portfolio).

Not too sure on ILR or CALS, although I do know a girl who got into CALS as an agriculture major with a ~1500/2400 because of the fact that she grew up on a farm and was a legacy.

That’s good to hear. 2100+ is very competitive for A&S (and CALS too, I’m assuming)? I’m SO surprised… Are you sure?
I only have a 2110 [although I think I got a 2200 on the latest SAT], and I still think that I have very little chance of getting in… even ED.

i dont think cornell looks at writing very much so. at least 1400+/1600 for CAS. (assuming your nonlegacy, urm/ athlete)
your schedule looks very good- very challenging

I got into Engineering (which has highest stat standards) with a 2150 coming out of a non-competitive public high school. And yes, I did RD. I am Asian, non-athlete, non-legacy, and my parents did not donate 12x36@2%3 dollars to the school. However, to be fair, I should mention that I had plenty of opportunities to excel in many things in my area and as a result had a very hefty list of ECs (hefty in both breadth and depth)

In any case however, your 2200 is fine for any school unless you have very lopsided scores. You do not have to retake.

If you’re going CALS or A&S, a 2110 is also fine (unless you have very lopsided scores)

Nope, my scores are evenly distributed. 700ish each. My math currently went up to around a 760 and I think my CR went up too… so I’m around a 2200 +/- 20. Definitely will be applying to CALS and A&S… Would my score be too low for Engineering though? Because I might apply to CALS for bioengineering…

If you’re around 2200 or so, you should be fine for engineering. I got in with a 2150 (to engineering).

Keep in mind that when applying to CALS, you apply to a specific major so you might still be held to higher standards than other CALS students if you apply to the biological engineering major. But a 2200 is fine.

Oh, you can only apply to one school at a time, so you can’t apply cals AND a&s.

My SAT IIs were pretty good actually. I think Cornell only considers your top two so they looked at my Math IIc (800) and Chemistry (770). If they did consider a third then it might have been biology (740).

My two other scores were US History (650) and Math Ic (770)
