Your grades aren’t great - the fact that you have been getting more Bs as time goes on doesn’t bode well. BUT if you do well senior year you have a chance to show admissions officers that you mean business.

Unfortunately your SAT scores are too dodgy and your accomplishments too many and too few of an impact to have a good chance at upper Ivies but perhaps Cornell, Penn, or Brown would give you a shot (Cornell most likely of 3.)

Assuming your senior grades rise and standardized test scores improve to a well-over-700-average (so 650 in writing is acceptable w/ 800 math and 750 CR for example), you have a decent shot. It all depends on how unique you can present yourself.

On the app limit your accomplishments to 10 tops, and try to make them state or national if possible and not local; that way it won’t seem like you’re trying to pad anything.

Brown’s 6 year med program is probably out of your reach with those SAT scores. PLME is significantly more competitive than the actual university.

Low SAT and low GPA.

REJECT at all Ivy Leagues, especially their medical school programs.

Great improvement from 1st SAT to 2nd

I have a friend that came from Afghanistan and he used that and his hardwork to make up for low SAT’s o below 2000 (i guess the diversity and first generation thing)
He got in Dartmouth

Would that help in my case? and how much?

I am an Korean American Male who came here in 5th grade.

No. Korean vs. Afghans? Which of the two do Ivy Leagues have more of? Plus, it is much more of an interesting story about an Afghan coming to America than a Korean… I believe you are an ORM

Don’t take the SAT too many more times. You’ll start to not improve anymore and when you take it so many times, it starts to look bad. I’d cap it off at this 3rd time.

Your grades are really low for ivies IMO. It also looks like you joined a lot of your extracurriculars really recently just to beef up your apps. Doesn’t look good to me.

but the fact is though i moved around alot and i wasnt settled down until high school, plus i moved in 10th grade and came back also due to family problems for like half a year. so i had hard time trying to stay in the same school and trying to find a stable extracurricular.
