Hello guys. I was just curious as to what my chances are of getting into stanford and cornell.
My GPA is 4.0 unweighted and 4.8 weighted. I will have taken 11 AP courses by the end of senior year. I have gotten a 4 in 3 AP exams and a 3 in 1 AP exams. I am rank 14 out of 407 kids in my school (btw our class was really competitive). I moved from a South Asian country 7 years ago. I come from an extremely low income family(will probably be a questbridge finalist). I have been doing art for 5 years and I have my own Art company. I am making my own android apps. I also have a degree in advanced mathematics. My current ACT score is a 32. Not submitting my SAT scores. In my subject tests, I will probably get a 740 in Physics and a 750 in math level 2. I can speak 5 different languages. I am currently the President of National Honors Society and I am also an intern at an IT department. I have done cross country and several other math/science clubs. From this data, what do you think are my chances?

You would sit within the average for applicants to Stanford and Cornell. Just focus on your ec’s and essays and hope for the best.
Also, Stanford and Cornell require you to send scores of all exams you have taken, so you must send your SAT scores as well.
Yes, you have to send ALL scores in. Neither school participates in score choice for the SATs so you can’t send in your subject tests only. I’ve seen many kids pay the price for trying to skirt the rules.
What do you mean by a “degree in advanced mathematics”? How can a high school student have a degree in mathematics? Shouldn’t you be scoring higher than a 3 or 4 in your APs, or higher than a 740 or 750 in your SAT II, and higher than a 32 in your ACT with an advanced mathematics degree?
Without the degree, your scores are actually quite decent. You just need to make your story compelling and unique for Stanford.
I mean I am basically living the life story of slumdog millionaire. The place where I come from we didnt even have clean water or electricity.
The rank 14 is going to hurt you for Stanford. If you are Indian then the odds are even smaller, there are lots of people with your background.

And even though I was rank 14, my High school gpa was a 97.5
Oh that might make a difference. A few years ago a kid from Nepal got into Penn and now transferred to Wharton. His ECs were some kind of special dance. But he was from Southern California.
Are you international? Your GPA is not from a high school in USA?
I am not international. I moved here from Nepal 4 years ago. Its just that my high school is a very upper class public school in which everyone does well.
I think that’s better than being international. But I think it helped the other guy that he applied ED.
So DrGoogle, what do you think are my chances?
You will probably go where questbridge gets approved…
Better odds at Cornell than Stanford. But maybe poster in post #12 is correct, I’m not familiar with Questbridge.
@ohiopop is right. What exactly is your advanced mathematics degree? And with it, I would expect your test scores to be higher?
