22 colleges??? Seriously dude, your guidance counselor must hate you. Your honestly telling me you want to go to all of those colleges. You need to do some hardcore research and eliminate like half of those colleges. Good Luck :)

No, I’m not applying to all those. I’ll definitely eliminate most of them, I just wanted to see my chances at each of the ones I am considering, and maybe it could affect where I’m going to apply.

In reducing your list, I heartily recommend you not rely on “chances” assessments from anonymous strangers on this forum (including me). Grill your college counselor at school. Find some hard data (on the respective universities’ websites). Then, apply where you think you would be happy. You have a reasonable chance at any of those places.

^I completely agree with pbr. Btw, I think you have a good shot at all of those schools. Good Luck :)

I am a parent of a current high school senior and I agree entirely with pbr. Having said that, your list itself seems not only too long but also very diverse (e.g., the Ivies, small liberal arts schools, etc.). I think you should spend a bit more time being honest with yourself. What type of college experiences and outcomes do you value most? Which schools or types of schools are best able to provide you with what you want most? Your experiences would seem to give you an excellent chance at all the schools on your list BUT that does not guarantee acceptance. Schools are inundated with applications and have implemented many broad approaches to the selection process. Best of luck and I hope you find exactly what you are looking for.
