I plan to apply to HYP, Brown, UPenn, Stanford, Berkeley, Duke and then some safeties. What do you think my chances are at those schools?

Bump!

I am also considering Georgetown if that helps clarify what reach schools I am applying to.

just wondering: what’s quill and scroll society?

Sorry!

Quill and Scroll is pretty much NHS for individuals involved with journalism programs. It is pretty tough to get into - only one is nominated from our paper each year.

Academics are good, dont need to worry about that SAT too much with that gpa/courseload. Your EC’s are amazing, a hook for sure at your schools. With that said, you have a very good chance at all schools except HYPS --for those four, its luck.

ok sounds good. i can only give you info based on what happened to me you are pretty much higher up in every aspect than i was (SATs, ECs) except rank (I was val. and you might be I don’t know). I got rejected from Stanford EA and I got into Penn. Stanford didn’t surprise me but that was one hard application and I kind of wish I hadn’t spent my time on it but since you like to write it will prob be better for you. obviously Penn is a reach for everyone but I think you would be fine there.

Additional thoughts?

bump again? please chance me.

We got our report cards for this semester today. My weighted GPA is 4.6565 is that helps…?
