What are my chances at transferring to these school?

Well i went to Gardner-Webb University my freshman year and I had no idea what I was going for… so I left and went to a local state school for the time being (until I figured out what it was that I wanted to pursue)…

I currently have a 2.61 GPA.

I have 27 credits so I do not need to send my high school transcripts to any school I am applying to.

I interned at a law firm and loved it so thats exactly what I am going to do. I have volunteered in Haiti for a week right after the earth quake and volunteered at a hospice at Christmas… I can get a couple excellent recommendations from my professors at GWU and an excellent Recommendation from the Attorney I am currently interning at.

I intend to major in Pre Law or Politcal Science.

Also, any schools that you guys have in mind that I should apply to?

Here are the schools I am applying to…

American University
Hofstra University
Umass Amherst
Michigan State
Boston University
Northeastern University

Your GPA is a smidgen low, for most of those schools, the odds aren’t looking too good. You can probably get into Hofstra, and maybe UMass Amherst, but a lot of schools look for a 3.0 or better when it comes to transfer students. Not to be harsh, but you may want to look at some other options. American, BU, and Northeastern are pretty tough to get into.

do you have any suggestions?

bump chance me please!!! any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
