Volunteer at many sites such as tutoring English to low income students
Volunteer with a down syndrome kid, helping him to get adapted to the real world
Made an internship on a company, putting emphasis to Industrial Engineering</p>
<p>And many other activities </p>
<p>I am latino from Costa Rica</p>
<p>I think you’ll be fine. Consider retaking the SAT for a score around 2000 if possible. With a good essay and teacher recs I think you’ll be a decent candidate</p>

<p>Yes I am an International student, I also have good teacher recs and a Purdue University graduate with MSME and BSME degrees recommendation</p>
<p>High high reach due to sat and oos status. Id your intended major is an engineering its out od reach</p>

<p>The GPA is UW, right? If so, you’re set for that part. Retake the SAT to get over 2000 like the above poster said and you have a good chance.</p>
<p>stugace 2000 isnt enough for op. He or she is an international and Umich is much morr picky on oos students.</p>

<p>Right, but there are more factors that play in the decision-making process: personal statements, activities, etc. </p>
<p>A 1740 gives him a chance, but 2000 gives him a better one.</p>
