<p>I’m really pessimistic and don’t think I will be able to get into any of these places. Help please!</p>
<p>You’re a little bit better than an average applicant for Penn. Figure you have about a 20% chance of acceptance (maybe a bit better if you’re a Philly resident). Same holds true for Princeton, but average applicants have only about a 10% chance there, so figure you have a 10 to 15% chance. JHU would be a low match for you and you have a good chance of getting accepted. </p>
<p>You should consider other top schools that are a tad less difficult to get into. Here’s a list of schools you might want to look at:</p>

<p>Your AI is between 219 and 221. (It’s higher for the average of your two SAT IIs and lower if you have to send in threee SAT IIs).</p>
<p>Anyway, anything from 215 and up is good for Penn (except Wharton) as a qualifying score, and 220 and up for Princeton (your 219 at Princeton, meaning borderline). As ampton 2X says you are low match for JHU.</p>

<p>P.S. Quit complaining about how your ranking got messed up–it’s excuses like this that will prevent you from getting accepted. Focus on the positive instead;–you have plenty in your background that speaks positively and that will get you into the schools you want–as long as you don’t come across as a whiner. </p>
<p>Also, your list of “member, member, member…” isn’t so hot. You need to show active participation in these areas. Keep that in mind in your application.</p>
