<p>Hi my name is Brendan I go to a Blue Ribbon School of Excellency called LaSalle Academy an all Boys School in NYC. I have a 3.9 GPA and take all honors classes and take AP English and Computer Science( Since they only offer 3 AP classes for Seniors only). I am in the top 15% percent of my class. I run Track and a Captain on Varsity Basketball. I am very active in my school as I am on the Debate Club, Student Council, a Writer on the School Newspaper, and Senior VP. I have over 200+ hours of community service and I have a umpiring job on the side. My Sat scores are not good enough to send and since its optional I don’t think i will. So what do you think my chances are at Providence or Wake Forest?</p>
<p>Absent being a diversity + or having some very unique or special attribute(s), I’d project not optimistic re: WFU. Can’t speak to Providence.</p>
<p>btw, why did you post re: WFU under the “Christian Colleges.” I’m quite confident none beyond some of the antiquated Southern Baptist alums would consider Wake as such. Loads of heritage and ample access/opportunities for Christian fellowship, but it is about as secular as can be and more where it counts. A great place, if one is not looking for Wheaton South.</p>
