tips:
ace the interview (go to www.yale.edu/asc)
instead of listing each venue at which you volunteered, which makes it look like you only volunteered for your resume, write it like this:

“Volunteered at X Hospital, X Headquarters, X Library, X Religious events, X Other event sof ra total of ~500 hours”

Wow…that’s all I can say.

I know you’ll get in next year.
I wish I can say the same about myself =T

Ohhh what HS! My school (Kinkaid) may have played you.

To stay on topic, I think your essays need to be very good also. Its hard to tell, since they like to tell people they rejected 1600s. You just have to make an impression.

I go to Clear Lake High School in Houston, TX

Thanks for the feedback, but what should i write for my essay?

Well, I think you should ask other TX admits, since all of them are handled intensively by one person. By talking to other admits, you should be able to work out the wants of your admissions officer, as in what she’s reading for and focusing on. As for specifically in your essay, I’m not sure :).
