What are my chances for Cornell College of Human Ecology?

<p>Hi everyone! I am currently a high school senior in New York and would like to know what my chances of getting into Cornell College of Human Ecology are. Note- I am an Asian female and will be applying for financial aid.</p>

<p>GPA = 3.85 (unweighted)
ACT = 32
SAT 2 = Math 2 (800) Chemistry (730) [Cornell College of Human Ecology does not require SAT 2’s, so I probably won’t be sending these scores anyway]
AP = Chemistry (4) US History (4) Calculus BC (5)
-This year I plan on taking AP Biology</p>

<p>EC’s
-Competitive dancing (all 4 years, and plan on minoring in dance at college). I have a whole dance supplement and resume that I will be sending to Cornell
-Assisting and teaching at my dance studio throughout the year and for dance camp during the summer
-Volunteering at the Sciencenter (only for junior year, as I plan on volunteering at the hospital next year). I volunteered at the Sciencenter for ~80 hours
-Link Crew (only for junior year)</p>

<p>I plan on majoring in Human Biology, Health and Society</p>

<p>Since New Visions is through Cornell, it may give you a leg up if you perform very well in it. However, Cornell is super careful in recent years not to seem as though they favor New Visions kids too much. Approximately 40-50% of NV kids who applied last year got accepted I believe, which is obviously a higher percentage than the average applicant pool. I think your SAT II scores are very good and I would actually recommend sending them (or at least the Math 2 one) even though Human Ec doesn’t require them. Other than that, I would also recommend trying to increase your ACT score a point or two. But you seem to be on the right track!</p>
