SAT2: Bio with a 750
AP Courses Taken: APUSH, Bio, Euro, Stat, Lit, Lang, Psych, Economics, Physics
Honors: World Cultures, US History, 3yrs of Latin, Genetics
GPA: 3.61/ 4 uw and 5.21/6 weighted. I know these are low, but I had a lot of responsibility at home involving helping to take care of my extremely ill father, and many times I was emotionally distraught or too involved to worry about getting an A on a test. Top 20% and rank 80 out of 430

EC’s: Varsity Debate for two years. MUN for 4 years, won many different awards, as well as Co President. Asian Club President(I’m caucasian though…), Technology Student Association 4 years, Chem club three years( officer), Science league for four years(officer for one year),Robotics for four years(officer for senior year and freshman year)–helped bring the team to the world championship,volunteering in Florida to help critically ill children for three years. Working at a dessert shop since freshman year, helps put cash in my pocket and I typically put my tips that I earn in the family jug to help out.

You have very unique circumstances so it is absolutely crucial that you mention these in your application, this will make up for any downfalls in GPA as well as extracurriculars (even though those are strong)

Make sure to retake the SAT and keep up the good work!
