SAT’s: Verbal: 630, Math 510, Writing 620, (Essay 11)</p>

<p>Activities: Lead Roles in 3 plays and two musicals, actor in One-Act play competition (award winning), Director of 2007 Spring musical, Director of 2007 One-Act award-winning play, President Animal Welfare Club, Critic on theater critic team, Key Club member, poetry club member, Copy Editor on Newspaper (have been on newspaper for three years including Senior year), Volunteering every sunday for three months at Animal Shelter, 356 hours Counselor at children’s summer camp, tutoring special needs preschoolers at least two times a week with my Introduction to Special ED class, International Thespian Society member, lots of academic-sports related awards (the plays are considered as sports), Critics choice for lead actress in 2005 play.</p>

<p>i have lots of friends applying to JMU. apparantly it is completely random. they want a diverse group of students so there isn’t criteria you have to meet. i’d say you have as good a chance as anyone else.</p>
