I am a female, indian and am applying to Lawerenceville as a day scholar student. I have done Swimming for 5 + years but only have been competetive for 2. I have also played tennis for 5 years as well as basketball for 2 years. These sports I have not done competetively but have gotten coached for. I can code in python and a bit in javascript and I am adapt in HTML, website design. As for music I’ve done paino for 8 years and am a NJMEA Senior and am planning to apply for a piano diploma next year. In school I am in the school orchestra for violin and am in the first violin section ( I don’t know if that means anything). I am interested in drawing and learning new languages. I know Teleugu ( my native language), English, Korean, German, and Chinese. The last 2 I know on an intermediate level. My drawing skills have won the school mural contests and I’ve placed 4th in the photography catagory for my school in the TSA competetion. I’m in speech and Debate and have been in the advanced accelerated programs in my school since 3rd grade. Ive consistenly scored in the top 97% in math MAP testing. On my ssat scores I’ve gotten a 94% overall score.
With these stats as a 8th gradera pplying to 9th do you think I could get into Lawerenceville, as a day scholar?
My answers for the addmission questions are all really good with revision from my teachers. The essay reflects upon myself and has been writtin with a lot of guidnace and revision. If that was what you were refering to @TheBDQueenie.
I wrote about things that have happened in my own life that could be applied to the Lawrenceville house system and also have participated in multiple food drives and organizations for volunteering, relating to my own cultural significance and leadership qualities in school and out, ex. student roundhouse or swimming events/meets.
