Stanford/MIT/Caltech: Need at least 31+ ACT or 2100+ SAT to be competitive

Stanford, MIT, Caltech = No
UTK = Yes
Georgia Tech and USC = maybe

Can expound on the “yes”, “no”, and “maybe”?

GPA weak and a 28 ACT won’t get you to the top schools.
You have a lot of ECs, but they don’t make you stand out and they certainly don’t indicate MIT and Caltech.

Test score is not everything but very important. Check this Forbes list and test scores http://www.forbes.com/sites/schifrin/2014/08/04/top-100-sat-scores-ranking-which-colleges-have-the-brightest-kids/
