I am applying from Brazil where over my 4 years of high school I averaged a 6/7 grade in total. Some years I did badly in science or math whereas other years I did well. My reports are varied. I scored 2202 on the SSAT, important to know that I will be reclassing (I’m in 9th grade currently), and I achieved a score better than 82% of 9th graders. I also play tennis at a competitive level in Brazil and have contacted tennis coaches at all schools I have applied to. (Exeter, Andover, Choate, Hotchkiss, Deerfield, and Lawrenceville). I have a friend currently attending Exeter. My interviews were very good and I think my essays were great, and showcased my international life. I think my rec letters are good since I know my teachers very well. Also, I have a volunteering project in Brazil which I detailed in all my interviews and almost all my essays. It is important to note that I speak English fluently and I travel to the US very frequently. There are many other extra curricular, that I find are not very important.
