<p>what are my chances for u michigan, stanford, princeton and u penn,?</p>

<p>GPA (NO WEIGHTED at our school) 3.85 all through high school</p>

<p>ACT: 32-33 with writing</p>

<p>Extra Circular: 2-3 sports per year since sophmore, treasure, yearbook manager, media organizer for school orphanage.. list goes on, maybe 3 or 4 more</p>

<p>AP: Straight A's in Computer Science and Biology last year, but very bad AP score which im not sumitting, 5 in AP Chinese, taking calc and world history this year, expecting 4 and 5's, as well as macro and micro and maybe statistcs. </p>

<p>what do you guys think? depends alot on my essay?</p>

<p>I think… everyone with good grades/test score has a shot, you just have to take the risk and apply. :slight_smile: A great essay/recommendations are helpful.</p>

<p>Do you have any leadership positions/roles in your ec’s?</p>

ACT scores - sry, I’m no expert at that
Essays are important, and since you moved between Canada and China your stories should be interesting.
BTW, what part of China are you from?</p>

<p>I used to live in Beijing, but I moved to U.S. six years ago…
still, we might need to know your other ECs (specifically)… because the three things you listed on there (if counting all sports as one) do not seem enough</p>

soccer, from like grade 10-12 5 hours a week
basketball volleyball g9-11 5 hours a week</p>

<p>yearbook manager g12
treasure g12
orphanage g11 2 hours a week for like 15 weeks</p>

<p>Company Assistant in translation from English to Chinese g10-g12</p>

<p>local soccer club with chinese adults g10-12 2 hours a week, almost every week</p>

<p>School Media organizer g10-12 4 hours a week every week of the school year</p>

<p>translator for teachers to find products they need online g10-12 1-2 hours a week </p>

<p>Environmental Club g10-g11 2 hours a week, doing enviro stuff to the school</p>

<p>I also collect autographs, dunno if that would count… like during g11 for like 5hr/week</p>

<p>think thats about it…</p>

<p>oh, but i hav All A"s in my Ap classes but NO　AP score from last year since the teacher was not so good… i got a real bad score, how much would that hurt me ? or if everything else is good like essays, EC’s and ACT’s they just wont look too much at that?</p>

<p>They do if you come from a not known school. If you have all A’s but poor AP scores in these classes, they will question how rigorous the curriculum at your school is.</p>
