Hey I’m 17, & I’m graduating early in November. I’ve been looking at universities in California & I’ve pretty much made up my mind. My top choices are below in no particular order…
• Cal State Northridge
• USC
• Cal State Fullerton
These are the schools that caught my eye the most. They all have pros & cons & USC is really my goal at the moment but I’m not sure if I have what they’re looking for. I have a 3.8 Gpa & I’m taking the SAT in June. I’m aiming for a good score. I went to public school my middle school years up until sophomore year & did TERRIBLE . I had problems with bullying so instead of speaking up I missed a lot of days which cause my grades to slip dramatically. But now that I’m doing online school with penn Foster I’ve got a great Gpa & I’m doing better, balancing out work & school. I also think I’ll do great with my college essay & sat scores. But what are they looking for ? Will I have a chance ? & if not what schools in California should I look at ?
