<p>This is for UCONN and i know my academic profile isnt impressive but i feel that my minority status and volunteer and extra curricular could help me let me know what u think</p>

<p>my gpa is a 2.7
i got about a 1600/2400 on the new sat
I am from Pakistan
Both of my parents did not go to college and were born in Pakistan
I volunteer at the Mosque every week feeding the needy
Im helping to build a new Mosque with the community
Ive played one year of highschool basketball
4 years of aau basketball
3 years of jcc basketball
I work for my dad at his resturaunt about 16 hours a week
please let me know what u think</p>

<p>Rehan, to be honest, you should have a true safety. It’s a high reach.
But that shouldn’t discourage you and you should apply regardless.
What’s the worst that can happen–You don’t get accepted. You will end up where you are right now(not in UCONN).</p>
