I have gone to 4 high schools, that is why I didn’t continue with orchestra and academic team. Maturity gap from freshman to sophomore year causing grade discrepancy. Taking all Honors and AP classes all of senior year. By end of high school, total of 8 or 9 AP classes completed. Common application written about many experiences with diversity (went to wealthy private Jesuit HS, then ghetto school, then rural-ish conservative large HS, now upper-middle class HS.

I really want to go to Washington University! Please chance me, I would greatly appreciate it!

Seems like you have a pretty interesting background. They may get a little angsty about some of your test scores (APs, particularly), but at least you have a valid excuse with your family moving and all. Make sure your essay is REALLY strong. Also, how many people are applying to WashU from your high school?

Definitely pump up your extracurriculars…what are you doing this year?

(I’m a debater too  What type of debate do/did you do?)

You might otherwise be a so-so candidate but your ethnicity and geography should push you up a notch and make you pretty competitive.
Good luck.

I’ve been in a lot of Public Forum, Policy, Domestic Extemp, and Student Congress… I haven’t gone to a tournament in awhile, job and all…
