I took two SATs. My best: 2110.
780: math, 670: critical reading, 660 writing.

Rank: 13/640 in a competitive high school in alabama (top 5% in the nation).
I take alot of AP classes and got all As. I have a rigorous schedule.

You can still re-take the SAT’s in the fall, and plan to become more involved with something you already are interested in- your current SAT’s are right on the edge but one of my kid’s scores really jumped up his senior year. You told us so little that it would be hard to take a guess but I don’t see anything that would keep you out…you just need to focus on the things that will get you in! That’s not just SAT scores, that’s subject tests, classes, recomendations, volunteering, essays.

It’s a reach. Are you RD/ED? ED could give you a little boost but its not that much easier to get in early, as the level of students admitted are similar. Definitely retake the SAT, its ok as-is but a better score would help. Also try to get some leadership positions and write good essays showing you really are a good fit at duke. Good luck.
