<p>During high school I had a lot of health issues, so my GPA from high school is not what you’d call fantastic. However, once we figured out what the problem was, I was able to do a lot better. I’m currently attending a community college and have a 4.0. I never took the SAT or ACT because I always planned on starting at community college, and mine doesn’t require that you take them. I’m wondering what my chances are of being able to transfer to a really good school, maybe even an Ivy.</p>
<p>You’ll certainly get into most majors at your state flagship. For most ivies and their peers lots more than graded come in. Most will still want an SAT score. But most importantly, what you did outside of the classroom will matter most. </p>
<p>There are lots of 4.0’s at CCs. The top colleges are still looking for unusual ECs. They’re worth a try, burp schools rated 25-100 will be more likely, if you don’t need aid you’ll have lots of choice.</p>
