<p>your EC seem a little low, perhaps you could elaborate a little bit more? Do you have a certain passion (i.e. well lopsided)?</p>

<p>You really need to wait until you receive an actual ACT score. Vanderbilt University is, however, aggressively recruiting URMs.</p>

<p>I desire to major in Neuroscience or Psychology. I was a bit worried to get in because of my low unweighted GPA.</p>

<p>But I will elaborate.</p>

<p>Model United Nations

  • I was over the Secuiry Council and reviewed all of the position papers that were to be sent off and used in our debates against the other countries.
    Art Club President
  • We design many of the flyers and other things for advertisement for the activities that we have at this school. Again, everything goes through me, I design mostly everything myself, do touch-ups, and then present it to our sponsor.
    Dollars for Darfur President
  • We raise money for the situation in Darfur. I schedule the activities and accept or decline the ideas to help us raise money.

  • I design the division pages and used photoshop on any photos for touch-ups. I designed our yearbook cover and I pick up the slack for any of the normal staff members.
    Debate Team, Participant/Leader
  • Participant of the first debate team of Memphis, TN. I was the leader of the 1st Affirmative for Biofuels to replace fossil fuels as the main source of energy.
    Who’s Who of America
  • Crappy thing that anyone can join. Like a vanity press or something.
    Art Department Assisstant
  • It’s pretty much volunteer hours, but I submit five hours a week helping with the Art Department Teacher finish projects.</p>

<p>I know I’m short on ECs. But I guess I would add things such as Honor Roll, Citizenship, etc. to help.</p>
