What are my chances of getting accepted as a transfer student?

I should be finishing with my Liberal Arts AAS next spring with 64 credits from a local community college. I’m finding that McDaniel College would be my top school to transfer to because they will accept my this degree, leading for me to basically skip the first two years at this school with little difficulty. I was accepted to this college during my senior year of High School, but I know I’ll be looked at much differently as a transfer. My current GPA is a 3.54 which will increase the next few semesters to (hopefully) a 3.8. I know they will not need my High School transcripts because I will have over 30 credits. I don’t know if this matters at all but maybe it does matter: I’m mostly an online student, and I work about 25 hours a week. This leads for me not to be very involved with my Community College campus, even though the chances to be involved on campus are one of the many qualities that attracts me to McDaniel.

What do you think my chances are of being accepted as a transfer?

So I went on their website, and I think you have a pretty good chance of being accepted! On their scholarship page, it says that transfer students with a 3.25 - 3.65 GPA will automatically get $16,000 upon admission, and that those with
3.66 or higher will receive $18,000. This leads me to believe that you will get accepted just based off of your GPA. However, they also ask for an essay, in which you can explain why you haven’t been as involved on campus and why that is part of what makes McDaniel such an appealing college to you. I honestly think you will have no problem getting in.

You’ll get in 60-70% chance. If you were already accepted in HS you could talk about reason you went to a CC. Working is an EC and shows you are reliable and a hard worker.
