What are my chances of getting accepted to U of M LSA?

I’m Hispanic, have an overall 3.1 GPA (I screwed up my first 2 years but have really good grades now), have a 26 on my ACT, have taken AP’s and accelerated courses, and I was deferred for EA decision. What are my chances of getting accepted when they look at all the regular decision applicants?

I dunno, I’ll check my crystal ball.

well I’m also hispanic… 27 act and 3.9 uw gpa 4.4 w lots of voluenteer, leadership positions, all honors or ap classes execpt for my frist two years of english (since english is my second language didn’t start learning it till I was 11)… so yeah I got deffer too… and there are people with way better stats than mine… so I feel like no one really knows… but our chances might be low

I think both of you could try to up your ACT. I’m Hispanic and got in with a 3.7 GPA and a 33 ACT.

Indeed. I’m 1/4 Hispanic with 2010 SAT, 3.88 UW, and 4.62 W.

I got accepted to Engineering.

I’m Asian(1st gen and 1st gen college student) with a 27 ACT and 3.93 GPA UW, 4.3XX W. I was accepted to LSA instate.

yeah i know i need to bump it… i’m retaking it in febuary again… this time i’m getting a tutor… hopefully i’ll get at least a 30… she is really good she raises scores a lot…

@luvxmas get the real act prep book that ACT offers, its only 15 bucks I think and has real formerly administered tests, not fake simulated ones. I think that helped me a lot.

Thank! Yeah I just suck at standardize testing…I really need to get it up thought I really want to go umich!

Don’t think you’re going to get in. Stats are way too low.
