<p>I didn’t get a hot score on my SAT (I will retake it though) and I’m taking the ACT in March. But based solely off what I’ve posted and not standardized test scores, do I have a good chance of getting in?</p>

<p>You have all of the EC’s that Michigan wants and the class rank, but you probably need to get your GPA up a little this semester and get at least 29 on the ACT, only because you’re applying out of state, which makes it more competitive for you</p>

<p>Essay’s are Extremely Important!!! Most Applicants know that GPA A/B avg is base criteria and EC’s obviously help… therefore that leaves Essays as the unique variable that will differentiate you from the rest of the pack</p>
