Winter 2017, to be decided. Ive already dropped one class.

Overall GPA, 3.3

I’m not blind, i know this looks pretty bad. I am heavily considering finishing an associates and becoming an electrician. Parents want to send me away but i’m worried it wont be much different. I want to make good money after college or wherever, but i’m worried that with these grades i wont get into any worthwhile programs such as an engineering program or the like. Also think that if i find college hard now (i do), then an engineering program will kill me. Becoming an electrician is appealing because i would work with electrical engineers, possibly. And a break could help me find my focus. The only catch is that the break could be as long as 7 years. What do you think? Also considered being a pharmacist, but i think that has come and gone with research on their quality of life.

Are you able to stay at the community college for a while longer? It might be worth getting a bit further in the math and physics sequences before you choose your path.

Yes i am able. i know what math classes i need as well. Would taking 3 years at community college before university hurt me?
