I am a sophomore with a 4.0 and took 1 honors class (no AP available) as a freshman, and two honors classes along with AP World History (only 1 available) as a sophomore. I am involved in Key Club and serve on the board as editor. I am also in the MESA (Math, Engineering, Science, Achievement) Club and won first place at regionals at Uni. of Santa Cruz. I was announced the most outstanding MESA member for 2017. I also got second place at the National University Poetry contest. I volunteer at my local Saint Agnes hospital and CAPS respectively. I am have also helped assist/coach my local basketball program/teams for youth. I’ve been a consistent volunteer at my local library since middle school as well… Other clubs I’m involved in are CSF, Green Club, Pre-med Club, GLOBE Project, and Ribbons of Hope…
What do you think my chances are of getting into:
-NSLC (National Student Leadership Conference) -preferably the medicine program
-ESLC (Envision scholarship leadership career) -also preferably med
-Harvard two-week summer program for high school
-Stanford Youth Medical Science Program
Does anybody else know any good programs or ways to spend my summer that I can use for enrichment. Also, previous alumni from these programs, any tips?!??!?!?!
