Hello, my name is Joey, I am a rising senior studying in the IB program. I want to attend NYU’s Tandon engineering school in Brooklyn. If anyone could help me understand my chances of getting into this school, that would be great!
I attend an IB school, however, I will not receive the IB diploma, only the certificate as I dropped IB German. My school is ranked number one in best public school in PA, by us news, I don’t know if that will help or not but hey my schools good at what it does :D. My scores are below, however, academically I’m below average.
GPA: Mine - 3.2 (weighted) | NYU - 3.7 | Tandon - 3.5
SAT: Mine - 1320 | NYU - 1430 | Tandon - 1325
My HL classes are Physics, Design Tech (engineering), and Psych
The strongest part of my application is my extracurriculars.

I have worked as a paid Electrical Develop intern/freelancer for two years, working on the development of products which will be on the market soon. Though this work I have been signed on as an inventor for my contribution, to the development of intellectual property.
