So I attended the IB program, I have a weighted GPA of around a 4.1. Low compared to the other students in my class, I’d say I’m in the top half of my school, although there is only around 50 kids in the senior class. I think we are ranked along with the major high school attached to our program, so I’d be in top 25%? I made a 28 on the ACT.

I suppose my drawings were decent? But I feel like my portfolio was kind of bad.

I also applied to Brown, because the dual degree program would be awesome, but I don’t think I have the stats for Brown. Although I do participate in a lot of extracurriculars, co-pres art club, secretary of epicurean club, cross country, volunteer at local art museum, viste (volunteers in service to elderly) and habitat for humanity.

My family’s gross income is around 45,000…what do you think my chances of getting into RISD are, and do they provide decent financial aid for students in need?
