What are my chances of getting into SDSU if I got rejected from CSULB?

Hello! I am a California CC student who applied for transfer for Fall 2018 for Nutrition! I applied to a lot of schools and haven’t heard back from all but I just heard back from my first school which was CSULB and got rejected… I’m very anxious because that was supposed to be my backup and SDSU was supposed to be my first choice. Please help me! I understand my chances won’t be very good maybe but I’d like advice so I should know if I should remain hopeful or bet on another school. )-: I would also like to mention that I applied for UC Davis, UC Berkley (Probably not getting in), Cal Poly Pomona, Cal Poly SLO, and SFSU and CSU Chico (If possible please chance me for those schools as well)!

Major: Foods and Nutrition
GPA: 3.60
ADT: No
Golden Four: Completed
Pre-Reqs: All but 2 completed
GE: All but History completed
Credits: Will have 65 by end of Spring 2018
Area: In-State (Not Local)

Generally, SDSU is a tougher admit than LB but, each school individually evaluates applicants so, you aren’t out of the running until they tell you so. My guess is that you will get into Davis, especially if you TAGed. UCB and CP SLO, probably not. The others will probably take you.
good luck.

I think you have a very good shot at Chico, which is a fine school. And Davis if you are from northern CA.

I’m kind of in the same boat. I know SDSU is big on major pre reqs. I didn’t have any of the CSULB pre reqs done for my major and got rejected (which is what I expected would happen) but I have all but 1 pre req for SDSU so I’m assuming that will give me a higher chance of getting into SDSU. Good luck to you, fingers crossed!
