What are my chances of getting into Stony Brook.

<p>I really want to get into Stony Brook nursing, what are my chances?</p>

<p>3.6 GPA
1700 SAT
I go to BOCES for Nursing and excel, I will graduate high school as a medical assistant
I have taken honors math for 5 years
I have one college class, will have two when I graduate
Have done a handful of volunteer work and I am going to begin volunteer work on an ambulance rig
Have a handful of clubs and sports
Work everyday after school </p>

<p>Yes I’m from NY, do you think I should retake my SAT in October and shoot for a higher score?</p>

<p>Okay. Being in state increases your chances. You should definitely take the SAT again. Try to get around 1900. It isn’t impossible. Buy the SAT blue book and take all the tests over the summer</p>
