What are my chances of getting into Texas A&M University or Blinn Team?

I am just curious to see how likely the possibility of me getting into TAMU or get offered Blinn team is.

I was in the top 30% in my class
SAT composite was 1210
Student Body President Junior year
Vice President Senior year
Varsity sports since sophomore year
a good amount of community service hours

I was just wondering what my chances are, or if you got accepted any of these options what your stats were.

I'll chance you if you chance me!

I think you will definitely get Blinn team at the least. Umm, being in top half of your class may hurt you however but you still had a pretty good SAT composite and being in student government. How rigorous was your course load? I hear A&M likes heavy course loads.

Now, can you chance me?
My best one day SAT is:
660 Math
570 Reading
660 Writing

=1230 Composite or 1890 total

I am on the Varsity wrestling team at my school, I have a 3.53 GPA at my school, I am in the top 25% of my class. I am an Eagle scout. I play two instruments. And I'm in National Honors Society. I am taking AP Physics, AP Calculus, and an online dual credit course this semester.
I applied on January 3, 2012

Also, I've got like 400-500 community service hours and i've worked at summer camps two summers

Thanks

This is very old news, but my oldest sister wanted to go to A&M. We went down to see their campus during her senior year and the admin dude told her that her SAT score was higher than his (he was an Aggie alum) but because of her rank, she couldn't get in with that score. She attended a rigorous high school with lots of smart kids, so her rank was in the top half, yet she scored well on the SAT. This happened a long time ago, so you should check the TAMU website to see if they post information about what SAT is required for the various cut-offs in class rank.

For example (numbers are random): top 10% needs an SAT of 1300
second 10% needs an SAT of 1600
third 10% needs an SAT of 1900

If they don't post this information on their website, perhaps a campus visit, email, or phone call would provide it.....assuming they still use such a system. I have lots of high school friends at A&M, and they love it. Good luck to you!!
