What are my chances of getting into UNC Chapel Hill as a Sophomore transfer?

So, my story is that I early graduated high school and was accepted to UNCG. I went to UNCG, but had to drop out due to a bad gallbladder. I had that removed, but I was out of school for a month before my surgery. So I was only able to take one online class at a community college.

So, right now my GPA in college is a 4.0 (From the one online class)
My high school GPA was 3.78
My SAT combined is 1440
My ACT combined is a 22

I wrote three really good essays by my standards and two others.
I got two recommendation letters from two previous high school teachers.

I really want to go into nursing and work with nuclear medicine.

I didn’t apply my senior year because I was going through financial troubles and I was searching for a job. I don’t have AP credits from high school either…

I feel like I’m not going to get accepted and I just wanted some insight. :confused: Will I maybe get accepted or not?

Realistically, you have very low chances of getting in. One online class of 4.0 won’t account for much, and your standardized tests are extremely low. Also you seem to lack rigorous courses from high school.

You could go to your local community college and work with them to figure out the courses you can take there that will work to the degree that you want. Get a year (even 2) of classes done (with strong grades) and do the transfer. Most cost effective and straight forward way to get where you want to go!
