<p>I goto TJ (currently a junior) and im just wondering what my chances of getting into UVA are. I’ve only taken the SAT once so far and i got a 2250 (730 Reading, 800 Math, 720 Writing) The problem is my grades…they’re absolutely horrible. My GPA after junior year will barely be a 4.0 (weighted) and maybe even less than that. Because of my grades i’m sure my class rank will be really really low so that’s another big problem. After junior year i will have only taken 4 APs (AP Computer Science, AP Psych, AP US History, AP Chemistry) and one post AP (Artificial Intelligence) and im taking 2 additional AP exams at the end of the year for classes that im not enrolled in (microeconomics and environmental science) I’m planning on taking 4 or 5 APs next year. I don’t have too many ECs either. I did debate 9th and 10th grade but i wasn’t very successful and I do It’s Academic (quizbowl) which i’m pretty good at. I did track for 2 seasons but i didn’t make districts or get any awards. I’m kinda worried that my college app is gonna suck. About a fourth of the people who graduate from TJ goto UVA (something like that). So do u think i can be one of those people?</p>
