research the homeschooling requirements. i don’t know anything about this, but i know most colleges require more stringent application requirements for homeschoolers. you need to take the writing portion of ACT. what about adding SATs? anymore extracurriculars? community service? you didn’t give much detail, but it seems unremarkable. but the homeschooling thing may make it look that way. try reaching out on a new thread to homeschooled applicants. good luck.

I’m homeschooled through an academy, if this makes any difference. I teach myself everything at home but do all of my work in school. I’ll have an official transcript, graduation requirements (4 of everything, 2 of bible, 2 of foreign language, and 12 extra-curriculars), counselor recommendation, class rank, etc.

Being the hospitality coordinator is participating in community service. Every sunday, I plan, cook, and serve a meal to every child that comes to my church, as well as cook and serve food at every church function.

I was the wrestling manager at my old school for two years, but had to quit because I moved; I figured this wasn’t worth mentioning. And I explicitly could not participate in the school’s ECs because they cost $60 each and did not offer bussing. This experience inspired me to form ESPASB.

I have been an active voluenteer for Obama for America since 2006, and will continue so until 2009. Currently, I am in the top 10% of all voluenteers.

sounds good. from what you said, be sure to include all pertinent ECs and create a focused package. presentation is HUGE in the college application business! still, try to get info from others who are/were homeschooled, as i don’t know enough about it.
