This was without studying at all, and I’m planning on studying and retaking in october and getting over 2000.

The schools I’m hoping to go to are Rutgers NB, Penn State, villanova, as schools that I’m not sure I will be able to get into.

You should have no problems getting into “mediocre” schools, unless it’s a special situation such as out-of-state at a public university. Your background isn’t bad at all- good SATs, a 5 in AP computer, good grade junior year. I would say that you will be in at all three that you mentioned.

Those schools are not mediocre and you should get into all of them. If you do really well on your SATs you may even get some merit. Don’t worry.

It’s just that my class rank is pretty bad because my class is very competitive. I’m not sure what it is, but it’s probably ranges from 100-125 out of 400 kids.
