Demographics: Junior at a large, competitive high school in Illinois. Asian (Indian Subcontinent). Over the past year, My family and I have had a lot of problems as my father lost his job for 6 months. I had to pick up slack around the house, tutor my brother, and try to maintain all my rigorous classes.
I plan on majoring in Accounting and Finance.
Academics: Weighted 3.88, SAT: 1450. Have taken 8 honors classes over the past 3 years and 5 AP’s (including this year). Plan to take 5 AP’s and 1 honors next year.

Founded two companies: AppsForU and Social4All. AppsForU was a social media app development company, focusing on a social media combination app. I was a part of the YEA! program when this was built. Unfortunately, I did not get past the development stage as investment money ran out and as competition grew. I ended up selling some of my assets(During 8th Grade). I rebranded the company and started over my sophomore year with Social4All where I provided social media optimization for local businesses. (Had to abandon this as well since my family’s situation got worse and I was needed back home. )

Over 100 hours of community service at libraries, local websites(managing and editing), and charities.
Possible job during senior year.
Awards: Health Science Grant for research project in State Science Fair. Basic Awards for GPA in the top 20% of the class.
