What are my chances to transfer into USC or Emory University from UCSD after freshman year.

I am gonna start a college life at UCSD this winter quarter 2016 and I wonder if I have any chance to get into USC or Emory

after freshman year. I am kind of satisfied that I got into UCSD; however, it was not my dream school. My dream schools were USC, Emory, UCLA and UC B. Since UCLA and UCB don’t accept sophomore transfer, I am gonna try to transfer to USC or Emory University after freshman year.
I am confident I will get all A at UCSD like at least 3.7 if I really focus on only studying.
I know these colleges look at high school record in order to assess sophomore transfers.

GPA - 3.9 (unweighted gpa) 4.0 (weighted) 2/45
SAT - 2120 CR 690 M 740 W 690
SAT II- MATH II - 690 KOREAN - 800
Decent high school EC

I believe my high school record is not gonna an obstacle when I try to transfer. So Can anybody judge my chance getting into USC or Emory after freshman year at UCSD?

UCLA does accept sophomore but you need 60 units collected. Some students took classes immediately after high school and the summer before sophomore. Google for the thread transfer after freshman year from UC to UC.

Did you apply to USC and Emory as a frosh? If you did and got rejected, then your high school record may be an obstacle as a sophomore level transfer.

USC takes a lot of sophomore transfers. I don’t know anything about Emory.
