I dropped out of my last college in 2015 because well, I hated it and I hated my majors. I didn’t go to school after than and wanted to take some time off to make some money and pay towards some loans. I’m 20 right now and I’m looking to transfer to a state school. My GPA was 1.8 after I dropped out and the transfer GPA for this school is a 2.0. I want to go back to school so badly to be a social worker but all of this doesn’t seem worth it anymore. Do you think if I have a lot of extra curricular activities from my old college and a good transfer essay they might consider me?
Which school(s) are you targeting? You will have to submit transcripts from the first school. Can you retake some of the failed? courses to bump up your GPA before transferring?
I’m planning on transferring to Plymouth State University. I wont be able to bump up my gpa because I’m not in school right now.
