Hello, I am a high school senior at Hollis Brookline High School. I have a 1880 SAT score, and a 3.89 GPA. I am also in the top 25% of my class. While I am not involved in sports, I have been working since the start of my freshman year. (Between 4 and 6 hours a week freshman through sophomore year. Between 14 and 40 hours junior through senior year). I am applying early decision to the college, and I hope to be admitted into their Joint Degree program with St. Andrews. I aim to study International Relations if I get into that program, while taking additional Arabic courses. Is there any chance I will be accepted into the school?

Personally, you always have a chance, but your SAT score is low for W&M. Do you have any other ECs besides just working outside of school? I think you need to either rack your SAT score, take the ACT, and find some EC’s.

abbie2013: I am involved in the National Honor Society, the National Society of High School Scholars, a state senator’s campaign, and I was just offered an internship to help with the presidential elections. I am also a math tutor for a sophomore at my school.
