<p>So I have a really low uw GPA. I messed up freshman year, and didn’t do particularly well sophmore year either. As of now, I’m taking 6 IB classes and 1 AP class, and I’m getting mostly A’s. But cumulatively, my uw GPA is somewhere around a 3.2 :(</p>
<p>My SAT score is a 2140 (770m/690r/680w)
My ECs aren’t too strong. I have 1.5 years of varsity swimming, and 3 years of guitar.
I have somewhere around 150 volunteer hours right now, and a good portion of them are from volunteering in a rural village in China; a few hours are from participating in a Chinese Educational video, and volunteering at a hospital.
And I’m fairly certain I can get two good recommendation letters.</p>
<p>So what are my chances of getting into these schools:

Emory
UCSD
UCD
UCI
Michigan @ Ann Arbor
Boston College and Boston University
Rochester University
UT</p>
<p>My UC GPA is at 3.82 and I’d be OOS. But I guess my best bet are the UC schools since they don’t look at freshman year.</p>
